A blend of 95% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Special Malbec comes from our 5 ha Araucana vineyard, which has unique, distinctive characteristics. The limestone soils, cool nights, and intense winds are constant challenges for our vines, resulting in wines with excellent concentration and pronounced natural acidity.
The soils of Araucana are mainly aeolian, meticulously sculpted over time by erosion
wind.
Enriched with volcanic ash and potassium, with a high content of calcium carbonate, these soils have a rare and unique chemical composition, not only for Patagonia, but also worldwide.
